Pseudocysts are approximately 75% of all pancreatic cystic structures, mainly caused by acute or necrosant pancreatitis, and pancreatic traumatisms. The present study reviews a series of 18 cases of patients with Pacreatic pseucysts diagnosed and treated in the period between 1973 and 2002. Out of a total of 285 patients with the diagnose of Acute Pancreatitis. It was found that the 100% of the these patients presented abdominal pain, 50% of the patients received medical treatment and other 50% surgical treatment. Conservative treatment is recomended in these patients.
