One of the forms of the nobiliary social activities is touched in the article. Kurtags of the 18th century in Russia were an element of the European semiotic system, a sort of diffu?sion provided the mutual cooperation of Russian and European culture. Kurtags as a style of social behavior existed quite long and based on discussing art, science, military and everyday issues.
