Pseudomeriones hansi nov. sp. (Rodentia, Mammalia) from the Early Pliocene (Ruscinian) Fauna of I deli (Turkey)

Pseudomeriones hansi nov. sp. is described from Igdeli locality (SW Sivas, Central Anatolia). Themorphological description of the new species is given within its own systematic and stratigraphic relationships. Themicromammalian fauna of Igdeli gives evidence for a new species which is characterized by its small size, its M2 with adeep lingual sinus curved backward and its m1 with a symmetric triangular anteroconid that bears a moderate labial armreaching the base of the protoconid.
