摘要

Distracted driving contributes to more than 1 million crashes in North America annually and results in serious bodily injuries, deaths, and an economic impact estimated by some experts at nearly $40 billion per year. 1 Every day approximately 9 people are killed and more than 1,000 injured in crashes that involve a distracted driver. 2 Driving while using a cellphone can pose a dangerous cognitive distraction and de-grade driver performance. 3 The use of a cellphone while driving in-creases your chance of getting into a crash by 400%.
