TOKYO, Decemember 14, 2016 - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it will launch a new continuous-wave (CW) laser diode (LD), the ML562G85, offering a world-record output power of 2.1W and a brilliant 639-nanometer(nm) red light for projectors on February 1, 2017.
