The effect of organic fertilizer derived from farm animals in the stimulation of the bioremediation process of soil contaminated with 6% diesel fuel was determined over a period of 12 weeks. The 10 soil samples (400 grams of soil per sample) of which one is the control sample (C 1 ) were polluted in a controlled way with 6% diesel fuel after which they were treated with different quantities (40g, 60g, 80g) of manure from three different species of animals (poultry, cattle and pigs). Soil samples thus prepared were kept in the laboratory for a period of twelve weeks, while they were watered and homogenized for aeration at an interval of three, four days. In the process of bioremediation of soil contaminated with 6% diesel fuel and treated with different quantities of organic fertilizer from three species of animals (poultry, cattle and pigs), the concentration reduction of total petroleum hydrocarbons is influenced by the quantity and type of manure that is used.
