Australian Alleculinae: New Genera, New Combinations, and a Lectotype Designation (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae)

Litopous baehrigen. et sp. nov. andScaphinion clavatusgen. et sp. nov. are described. New combinations (previous genus in parentheses) areAethyssius minor(Carter) (TanychilusNewman),Homotrysis subopaca(Carter) (MetistetePascoe),Metistete armataCarter (HomotrysisPascoe),M. opaca(Carter) (Tanychilus),M. punctata(Carter) (MelapsCarter), andNocar subfasciatusCarter (TaxesChampion). A lectotype and two paralectotypes are designated forDimorphochilus diversicollisBorchmann which is removed from synonymy, and the genus is briefly discussed.
