摘要

The aim of the study was to analyze the antibiotic resistance of bacteria, genera Enterobacteriaceae, isolated from sheep milk products (sheep cheese, bryndza, .in.ica). Resistance or susceptibility was determined by disc diffusion method. The interpretation zones of inhibition around discs were formed according to BSAC 2008 Methods for Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing. Three antibiotics viz., Enrofloxacin, Streptomycin and Chloramphenicol were used in the present experiment. High susceptibility was noted in all isolates. The highest resistance or susceptibility of sheep milk products (75 %) was found in the sheep cheese sample on Streptomycin (S10) antibiotic. From the point of intermediate susceptibility higher value (50 %) of sheep cheese on antibiotic Enrofloxacin was noted, while 100 % susceptibility was observed for the bacteria from the family Enterobacteriaceae isolated from .in.ica on Chloramphenicol (C30) and Streptomycin.
