TVORBA NOVYCH ODR?D P?ENICE LETNEJ F. OZIMNEJ S POTRAVINáRSKOU KVALITOU POMOCOU MARKEROVO ASISTOVANEJ SELEKCIEDEVELOPMENT OF NEW WINTER WHEAT VARIETIES WITH BREADMAKING QUALITY THROUGH MARKER ASSISTED SELECTION
The aim of this study was to acquire winter wheat lines with good quality, containnig untraditional HMW-GS (17+18, 13+16), for future incorporation to breeding processes for the purpose of developing new varieties with improved bread-making quality. At first, two sets of progeny were obtained by crossing. In the first set the influence of HMW-GS on breadmaking quality indicators was evaluated in F3 and F4 generations. In F3 generation SDT value was influenced significantly (P<0.01) by alleles at Glu-1A and Glu-1D loci, in the F4 generation SDS test value was significant influenced by alleles of all three loci - Glu-1A, Glu- 1B (P<0.01), Glu-1D (P<0.05), respectivelly. Protein content in the F3 generation was significantly influenced (P<0.01) by alleles on Glu-1A loci, while in the F4 generation on Glu- 1B loci. Hardness of corn was significantly influenced (P<0.01) by alleles at Glu-1D loci in both generations. Wet gluten content was statistically influenced (P<0.01) by alleles on Glu- 1D loci. Quality of second set was not statistically evaluated in the F3 generation.
