Multi-Wavelength Variation Properties of ?3-Ray-Loud Blazars

Basedonmulti-waveband(radio,optical,andX-ray)observationdataof61$$gamma$$-ray-loudblazars(Chengetal.2000,ApJ,537,80)and$$gamma$$-raydatabyHartmanetal.(1999,AAA72.002.011)wehavestudiedthevariabilitypropertiesusingthevariabilityindex,$$v=(F_{mathrm{max}}-F_{mathrm{min}})/(F_{mathrm{max}}+F_{mathrm{min}})$$,andtherelationsbetweenthefluxdensityandboththeredshiftandthevariabilityindex.Themainlyresultsareasfollows:1)theaveragevariabilityindexesarealmostthesamewithintheerror-barrangefortheradio,optical,X-ray,and$$gamma$$-raybands.2)Thevariabilitiesintheoptical,X-ray,and$$gamma$$-raybandsarefoundtobecorrelatedwiththefluxdensitiesofthesource,implyingthatthemorevariableisthesource,thebrighteritis.
