Diagnóstico y evaluación de centros de visitantes del Parque Nacional de las Cumbres de Guadarrama: propuestas de actuación

Visitors centres are the public equipments to which more economic resources is involved in Spanish protected areas. This research evaluates the need of building new centers to the declaration of Guadarrama National Park. An especially relevant considering the economical sustentability problems of these facilities in times of crisis. In the next pages we propose the conclusions of analisys of the publics equipments at Parque Nacional and its influence area and the evaluation of three cases based on parameters defining the Environmental Education and Heritage Interpretation. The results show that there are other aspects more important than the building of visitors centers.
