New thermo-magnetic material wire used for self-protection high voltage line overhead conductors against frost/ice deposits

Theaccumulationofice/frostonoverheadhighvoltageline(HVL)conductorsmaycausevariousproblemssuchasbrokingandvoltageinterruptions.Inthisworkispresentedanewmethodtomelttheice/frostdepositsfromtheoverheadconductors,methodthatusetheheatgeneratedbyamagneticmaterialwire.Thismethodhasbeendevelopedandtestedonanexperimentalmodel.However,bythemethodusingthemagneticwire,theconductorcangainsufficientheattomeltthedepositsoffrost/iceduetothemultifunctionalmaterialused,whichischaracterisedbylowCurietemperature.
