The paper is divided in two parts, first part presents how the propagation ofelectromagnetic wave is influenced by the local condition of the propagation medium,in our case the soil, and by the central frequency of the transmitter antenna. Thesecond part contains the results of a GPR survey on an archaeological site fromMalaiesti, Prahova County.
