Study of the extensive air shower size and the energy spectra of cosmic ray muons at sea level

摘要

In this paper I presented the results obtained for the differential energy spectraof muons at sea level determined as a function of three zenith angles. I calculated theshower size and the number of muons per square meter as a function of the lateraldistance from the center of the shower. The data interpretation provide the mostsignificant physical information for understanding the main problems in cosmic rayphysics. The problem of the energy dependence of the muon intensity at sea level is inthis respect a specific goal to which the present article is devoted.
