摘要

In this paper presented model occurring in piston ring – cylinder linear andpiston – cylinder liner. The materials in these contacts were made from composites and castsiron. The real shape and size of reinforcement phases (Al2O3) in composite were determinedon the basis of metallographic and statistic examination. On the basis of these examinationcould be reconstruction the real shape of reinforcement phase hard particles. The main aims ofthe simulation research were determination of stresses and strains in extreme servicecondition.
