Livestock trade in the Horn of Africa

conference entitled: Rift Valley Fever – New Options for Trade, Prevention and Control was held in Djibouti from 21 to 23 April 2015 for the countries of the Middle East and the greater Hornof Africa1. Attended by approximately 70 veterinary and medical professionals and scientists from 18 countries, it was organised under the umbrella of the Global Framework for the Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases(GF–TADs), with the participation of the main regional and sub-regional organisations.
