Flux-Spline discretization scheme applied to drying in capillary porous media

摘要

This study was conducted with the objective to present a more efficient discretization scheme to finite volumes method called Flux-Spline, utilising for the purpose two cases of pure diffusion in capillary porous media. The results of numerical simulation of the equations system formed by Luikov equations showed a good performance of the scheme in comparison to the Central Difference Scheme and Generalised Integral Transform Technique method.
