Characteristics of Successful Female Agri-Entrepreneurs: An Exploratory Factor Analysis

What characteristics may be associated with successful female agrireview of extant literature on characteristics associated with successful entrepreneurs was undertaken. Also, 23 female agriwere asked to respond to an open-ended question that had something to do with being successful in the field. The review of extantliterature and the responses of the 23 female agrifemale agri-entrepreneurs were asked to respond to the 76subjected to exploratory factor analysis. After exploratory factor analysis, six factors emerged. These factors were: MotivatioProgress, Openness to Change, Consideration for Others, Desire for Opportunities, Confidence with Oneself, and Sensitivity toSurroundings. Naming of factors was done based on the common themes of items that loaded on each factor.
