ThepurposeofthisstudywastodeterminetheinfluenceofdifferentenvironmentalfactorsonsomebiochemicalandhematologicalparametersinOuledDjellalewes.Thestudywasconductedon90ewesaged3to5years,clinicallyhealthy,multiparous,fromthearidsoutheastofAlgeria,dividedintothreelotsatthreesites[Psite:plainarea,altitude150m(n=30);HPsite:highplateau,altitude600m(n=30),andMsite:mountainarea,altitude1000m(n=30)].Whereasthetotalproteins,triglycerideandcholesterollevelshavenotsignificantlyvaried,hematologicalparameters(haematocritandhaemoglobinemia)weresignificantlyhigherinmountainewes(haemoglobinemia:121±33(M)vs87±39(HP)and73±25(P)g/L).Glycemiawaslowerinhighplateaus(1,83±1,72(HP)vs3,77±1,22(P)and3,82±0,33(M)mmol/L).Inparallel,uremiaandserumlevelsofminerals(calciumandphophorus)weresignificantlyincreasedinewesoftheplainregion.Finally,creatininemiaappearedlowerinplainewes:106±19(P)vs119±37(HP)and119±36(M)μmol/L.Theseresultsillustratetheenvironmentfactorsinfluence(altitude,landforms,andtemperatureetc.)onbloodparameters,especiallyonserumlevelsofmineralsandhematologicalparametersinOuledDjellalewesrearedunderaridconditions.
