ThestudywasconductedattheexperimentalfarmofNongLamUniversity,HoChiMinhCityfromOctober2010toMay2011.Anbsp;maizebiotestwasusedtoevaluatethreefactors:biochar(atlevels0,2,4and6%),twokindofsoils(acidandfertilesoil),biodigestereffluent(withandwithout).Therewereintotal16treatmentswith4repetitions,arrangedinacompleterandomizedblockdesign.Thecombinationofbiocharandeffluentincreasedthenbsp;heightofthemaize(from48to157cm)andthebiomassyield(from27to114g/plant)comparedwiththecontroltreatment.TherewereimprovementsinsoilpHafteradditionofbiocharandinmineralstatusafterapplicationofeffluent.
