Asurveywasconductedin22differentvillagesand18indigenouscattlewereselectedforthestudy.Theywererandomlydividedintothreegroups:Ctl(control)asperfarmers#8217;practice;MOCasupplementcontainingoilseedcake;andAZasupplementwithazollamealreplacingmustardoilseedcake.DMintakenbsp;duringtheexperimentdecreasedinthecontrolanimalsandincreasedinthosefedsupplementscontainingmustardoilcakeandAzolla.AttheendoftheexperimentthebodyweightandmilkyieldwerehigherincattlefedthesupplementswithmustardoilcakeandAzollacomparedwiththecontroltreatment.
