Benefits and limitations of biofertilization in agricultural practices

Theincreasingimpactsontheenvironmentduetoagriculturalpracticesintheworldhavegraduallyaffectedthequalityofthesoilintermsofstructureandbiologicalequilibrium,whichhasrequiredthedevelopmentofalternativepracticestominimizeandmitigatethoseimpacts,paralleltotheimprovementontheyieldpercultivatedareaandeconomicalbenefitsforproducersandfarmers.Inaddition,theamountoffoodthatsocietyoftodayrequireforprocessingandsupplyoftheindustryhasencouragedthecreationofnewoptionsfornbsp;agriculturalpractices,tendingtobe:i)lessinvasivetotheenvironment,ii)cheaperthanconventionaltechniques,iii)abletoincreaseefficiencyatlowcosts,iv)abletoobtainbettercharacteristicsonharvestsand,v)easeofuseandimplementationwithnoexcessivetechnicalrequirements.Asaresult,technologiessuchasbiofertilizationhaveemergedinordertominimizeenvironmentalimpactsandtakeadvantageoftheresourcesavailableinthefield.Themainscopeofthispaperistoassessresearchesperformedwiththeuseofbiofertilization,mentioningtheiradvantagesandlimitations,reviewingsomeresultsonefficiencyandbenefitsacquiredinrecentyearsandhighlightingtheirpotentialforbetteragriculturalpracticesworldwide.nbsp;
