Theobjectiveofthisworkwasestablishingthesilagequalityoffoursunflowergenotypes(V2000,DK180,M734andRumbosol91)ensiledwithdifferenthead/stem+leavesproportions(100:0,80:20,60:40,40:60,20:80,0:100).Thedrymatterpercentage,nitrogenfraction,pHandetherextractweredetermined.Thewholeplantwasusedascontrol.Lowdrymatterpercentageswereobserved,factattributedtotheprematureharvestofthematerials.Thevaluesfluctuatedbetween14,7and20,1%.Thereductionoftheheadinthesilagecausesaprogressivefallinthecrudeproteincontent.Independentlyofthegenotype,highpercentagesofammonianitrogenwereobservedvaryingbetween8and21.15%ofthetotalN.Thesevalueswereassociatedwiththehighpercentagesofhumidityinthematerialsbeingensiled.Areductionwasobservedinthepercentagesofetherextractwiththedecreaseoftheparticipationofheadinthesilages.ThepHofthesilagesvariedbetween3.48and5.58.
