摘要

Objective Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a multifactorial inflammatory disease. In particular, CRS with eosinophilic features and/or nasal polyps (NPs) is often recalcitrant to current treatment; thus, appropriate animal models are mandatory to elucidate the pathogenesis of CRS and develop novel and efficient treatment modalities. The author reviewed the recently proposed animal models in CRS and discussed the pathophysiologic insights gained.
