ISLSM, WFSLMS AND NPO-WFSLMS: WHAT'S IN A NAME?

Before launching into the main body of the Editorial based on this issue’s title, I am so very happy to welcome you to the second issue of our ‘new-look’ Issue 2 of the journal’s 27thvolume. In Issue 2 of Volume 26 I announced some ‘spring cleaning’ of basic elements of the journal,namely a thorough overhaul of the Aims and Scopeand Notes for Contributors, which had remained more or less the same since the inception of the journal with John Wiley and Sons, to bring the journal firmly into the digital age and in line with all the major medical journals. In addition to this, as you will have noted from the appearance and layout of the articles in Issue 1 of this volume,I have also streamlined the appearance and typesetting of the journal. This has enabled us to increase the word count without increasing the page count, meaning we can squeeze more articles into the same page count.
