Abstract:Objective To summarize the way of blood glucose management in diabetic patients during perioperative period. Methods To assess the management situation of blood glucose control in n diabetic patients based on therapeutic schedule and dietary plan during perioperative period. Results Of 76 patients observed, 22 cases with medical order of blood sugar monitoring before operation, 6 cases with entire record on blood glucose change during perioperative period. Conclusion It is required to carry out the continuous improvement measures in blood glucose management of diabetic patients during perioperative period. The preoperative assessment, nutrition support and monitoring during perioperative period should be enhanced in addition to proper hypoglycemic therapy.
