Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on depression and anxiety of heart failure patients complicated with psychological disorder. Methods A total of 82 patients with heart failure and psychological disorder were randomly divided into control group (n=41) and observation group (n=41), both groups were treated with symptomatic treatment. The observation group was conducted with comprehensive nursing intervention, while the control group was conducted with conventional nursing. The mental status was assessed by self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale before and after intervention in both groups. The recurrence rate of heart failure was observed. Results The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P0.01). The recurrence rate of heart failure was 14.6% in the observation group, which was significantly lower than 36.6% in the control group (P0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively improve the anxiety and depression in heart failure patients complicated with psychological disorder and reduce the risk of recurrence of heart failure.
