Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of Shenque acupoint application and warm needling of Neiguan acupoint on hyperemesis gravidarum, and to summarize related nursing measures. Methods 〓Sixty pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum were randomly divided into control group(n=30)and the observation group(n=30). Both two groups received traditional rehydration supportive therapy with vitamin B6 and vitamin B1 antiemetic. The observation group was treated with Shenque acupoint application and warm needling of Neiguan acupoint. Both groups were given the corresponding care. The clinical efficacy on hyperemesis gravidarum, Chinese medicine symptom integral and dietary intake were observed and compared between two groups. Results 〓The total effective rate in the observation group was 96.67%, and was 73.33% in the control group, with a significant difference(P0.05). According to the Chinese medicine symptom integral, the nausea and vomiting. eating disorders, fatigue and sleepiness syndrome were decreased in both two groups after treatment, and were lower n the observation group than those of controls(P0.05). The daily food intake in the observation group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusion 〓The application of Shenque acupoint application and warm needling of Neiguan acupoint is potentially effective in treating hyperemesis gravidarum. It is also required to carry out corresponding nursing interventions, in order to improve the quality of life in pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum.
