Abstract:Objective To explore the emergency treatment and nursing for patients with acute respiratory failure caused by brain injury. Methods A total of 84 patients with acute respiratory failure caused by brain injury were selected as the research object, and they were treated with systematic nursing intervention. Results The total nursing effective rate was 95.24% in 80 patients, and 4 patients died of deterioration. After nursing, patient’s respiratory ability improved significantly, and most of the family members and patients were satisfied with the results. No nursingrelated complications were observed. Conclusion Implementation of systematic emergency treatment and nursing measures for patients with acute respiratory failure caused by brain injury can improve nursing efficiency and quality of life.
