Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of fumigationwashing therapy and nursing of TCM on the recovery of knee joint function of patients with osteoarthritis. Methods A total of 112 patients with osteoarthritis were selected and randomly divided into two groups, 56 cases in each group. The control group was given the conventional nursing. On the basis, the observation group was given the fumigation-washing therapy and nursing of TCM. The nursing effect, prognosis and satisfaction degree were observed. Results The total effective rate of observation group (94.64%) was significantly higher than that of control group (83.93%) (P0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in scores of HSS, VAS and ADL between two groups (P0.05). After intervention, the scores of HSS, VAS and ADL in observation group were significantly better than control group (P0.05). The satisfaction degree of observation group was 98.21%, which was significantly higher than 87.50% of control group (P0.05). Conclusion The fumigation-washing therapy combined with nursing of TCM shows an obvious effect on treatment of patients with osteoarthritis, and it can reduce the pain, promote the recovery of knee joint function and improve the patient′s satisfaction degree.
