Free water intake of ewe lambs offered water from different sources

Abstract The growth, health, wool production, and free water intake of ewe lambs offered water from three different sources were examined in three years at the Masterton Field Research Area: none was influenced by either water type or regular changes in water type. Maximum air temperature and potential aerodynamic evapotranspiration were found to be good “estimators” of water intake.
