Abstract:Objective To discuss the standardized management of orally taken medicine in primary level hospitals. Methods To utilize the managing tool of quality control circle in the Department of Cardiology where orally taken medicine were frequently used, and to analyze the reasons of non-standard manner in administration of medicine. Improvement measures were made and implementation effect was evaluated. Results The non-standard rate of orally medicine taking for inpatients declined from 48.3% to 13.0%. Conclusion It is required to carry out measures based on quality control cycle activity and establish a better assessment system from the aspects of orally taken medicine management, implantation and effect evaluation, in order to reduce the non-standard manner in administration of orally taken medicine.
