:Epidermolysis bullosa is a group of genetic conditions that cause the skin to be very fragile and to blister easily. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that arises when the body's response to infection causes injury to its own tissues and organs. It is also the main cause of septic shock and multiple organ dysfunction syndromes. This paper reviewed the treatment and nursing management of 1 patient with congenital epidermolysis bullosa complicated with sepsis. Medical and nursing staff had performed comprehensive nursing interventions including skin care, hyperthermia care, pain management, nutritional support and psychological care.
