摘要

Expanding global health opportunities in North Amer- ican nephrology training programs may improve recruitment while building clinical capacity in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The availability of such opportunities within North America is un- known. We surveyed program directors to characterize interest in global health training, catalog available opportunities, and develop a registry to support their expansion within North American programs. Methods: We surveyed program directors for all adult and pediatric programs in the United States (US) and Canada via email, with serial distributions, advertisements via social media, and personal commu- nication used to enhance responsiveness. The Stanford University Institutional Review Board approved the study.
