摘要

The ever-growing park of storage tanks for oil and petroleum products makes topical question their optimal synthesis. At designing of coverings of tanks in the conditions of IV - VIII snow areas of Russia the basic contribution to their stress and strain state is brought by snow loading. Norms allowed varying the parameters of the geometrical scheme of domes. Set qualitative and quantitative picture of the impact of snow loads for load-bearing elements of vertical cylindrical tanks with coatings to vary their geometrical parameters.
