The qualification of the content and uptaking of mineral components and content of organic compounds in biomass of sorghum in dependence on the sowing date, plants density and distance of rows, was the aim of the investigations. Field experiences were conducted in 2008-2010 at the Experimental Station at Swadzim near Poznań. The content of mineral components and organic compounds in sucro-sorghum was independent of the sowing date, plants density and distance between rows. Accumulation of Ntot, P, K, Ca and Mg increased together with increases of the density of sowing and reduction of the distance of rows. Uptaking of mineral components increased along with both reduction of plants density and distance of rows.
