摘要

Palavras-chave: variabilidade espirom??trica, reabilita?§?£o pulmonar, pneumopatas./div/pbr/pABSTRACT/PThe respiratory tract illnesses constitute important cause of morbidity and mortality in adults and children in the world. The chronic pulmonary illnesses are one of them whose can present restrictive, obstructive or mixed character. The respiratory physical therapy has been used to assist treatment and prevention of acute or chronic respiratory illnesses, it comes being used with intention of improvement of the clinical condition of the patients with respiratory illnesses, using programs of pulmonary rehabilitation (RP), which helps to reduce the dyspnea, to improve the physical conditioning and to reduce the chronic injury. The regular spirometry evaluation of patients submitted to the RP aims at the accompaniment of the pulmonary function. The objective of this work was to evaluate the variation of the pulmonary function in individuals with chronic respiratory disease under supervised physical exercise. The sample size was formed by 8 patients whose were patients from the Clinical School of Physiotherapy of the UNISUL, Tubar?£o/SC, where the best gotten results findings in the database of the spirometry evaluations had been selected at the period between october of 2005 and september of 2007. The used instrument was sensory MultispiroTM spirometry, analyzed for software SX 252. The program of exercises had a frequency of 2 - 3 times a week with duration of 50 minutes, including general stretching, aerobic train of moderate intensity, breathing exercises and global exercises of force and resistance. The gotten results had been dealt with through average and shunting line standard, coefficient variation and non parametric test of KruskalWallis (p0,05). In general, the spirometry variability observed was small, without statistical difference. The parameter with higher variation was the peak flow respiratory (PFE), reaching 10% of the variation coefficient. In resume, we verify that chronic respiratory disease patients whose had been participating of regularly supervised physical exercise, presented little variation of the pulmonary function.Key words: spirometry; pulmonary rehabilitation; respiratory tract disease./div
