Estimation of account the flanges in the direct calculation of stress-strain state parameters at normal sections of structural members

Most construction design and management regu-lations [1-4] recommend using nonlinear stress diagrams.The use of the nonlinear state diagrams enables us to cal-culate the actual stress-strain state parameters of structuralmembers (of the compression and the tension zones, thecrack depth, etc.) and to design structural members withgreater accuracy.
