摘要

A recent ranking about greenhouse gases (GHG) emissionselaborated by the Climate Action Tracker1 has given Argentina therank of “highly insuffcient commitment”, in spite of the countryreduced its intended National Determined Contribution (NDC) from570 to 483 MtCO2e to be achieved by 2030;2 besides, there has beena governmental effort to estimate GHG emissions at national level, resulting in a new release of the National GHG Inventory (2017),which had not been updated since 2000. The latest GHG inventoryis revealing because, even though energy sector has the largest sharefor GHG emissions at national level (53 %), contributions fromagriculture are still considerable (39 %).
