STUDY ON FLOCCULATION PROCESS OF ACTIVATED SLUDGE IN DEHYDRATION CENTRIFUGE OF PAPER SLUDGE

摘要

Flocculation process of activated sludge in dehydration centrifuge of paper sludge is studied. Improvement effect and its function mechanism of different coagulant conditioning to dehydration property for activated sludge in dehydration centrifuge of paper sludge are examined through measuring capillary sop time (CST), particle size and combined water content and different components for extracellular polymeric substance (EPS). It is shown that average particle size for activated sludge floc has a significant negative correlation with velocity gradient. Under functions for different speed degrees, average particle sizes for VSS/SS activated sludge flocs of all kinds are distributed between 56.3 |rm and 201.1 |rm. Z*[4,3] and AZ[4,3] all have significant positive proportion relations with organic contents or EPS contents. Increase contents for organic matter and EPS will strengthen floc strength, and promote improvement of flocculation effect.
