摘要

The adsorption of Astrazon Blue FGRL onto cement industry electro-filter recycle powder was investigated in aqueous solutions in a batch system with respect to contact time, initial concentration, pH and temperature. The pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models were used to describe the kinetic data and the rate constants were evaluated. The Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models were applied to describe the equilibrium isotherms and the isotherm constants were also determined. The Langmuir model was the best-fit isotherm for the experimental data. The change of Standard free energy (ΔG°), enthalpy (ΔH°)and entropy (ΔS°) of adsorption were also evaluated for the adsorption of Astrazon Blue FGRL onto cement industry electro-filter powder. ΔH°and ΔS° changes for the adsorption process were 7.29 kJ mol-1 and 19.77 J mol-1 K-1. The adsorption of Astrazon Blue FGRL dye was increased with the increasing temperature, on the other hand, no change was observed within the range of pH 4.5-9.5. The maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent in the room temperature was found 73.53 mg g-1. The results indicate that cement industry electro-filter recycle powder could be employed as low-cost material for the removal of textile dyes from aqueous solutions.
