As a clean and pollution-free energy, green natural gas plays an increasingly important role in China’s urban energy system in order to meet the needs of sustainable urban development under the new situation, but the price control factor restricts the further development of natural gas in the urban energy system. This paper studies the model of urban natural gas energy system based on the change of natural gas price, and establishes a threedimensional differential equation model based on the variables of urban natural gas energy consumption, natural gas price and urban economic growth. And raises the natural gas price on the basis of this model.The interdependence, mutual constraints and the evolution trend of energy intensity of natural gas are studied quantitatively after the increase of natural gas price, and the computer simulation is carried out, which concludes that the energy intensity of natural gas decreases after the price increase, and the amount of economic growth decreases first in the short term and then gradually increases in the long term, indicating that raising the price of natural gas is conducive to the healthy development of the natural gas industry, at the same time, the urban energy structure transformation and the current urban natural gas energy system are the sustainable development.
