The relationship of the Functional Rating Index withdisability, pain, and quality of life in patients with low back pain

Background: The study was planned to determine the relationship of the Functional Rating Index (FRI) withdisability, pain, and quality of life in patients with low back pain.Material/Methods: A total of 84 patients with low back pain, of whom 58 were women and 26 were men, with average age of 47.8±12.0 years participated in this study. The Functional Rating Index was used to determine the functional status of the patients. Disability was evaluated using the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMQ), pain intensity was evaluated with the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and theShort Form-36 (SF-36) was used to assess quality of life.
