2 NEW SPECIES OF THE GENUS GYRODACTYLUS NORDMANN, 1832 (MONOGENEA, GYRODACTYLIDAE) FROM ESOMUS-LONGIMANA (LUNEL) (CYPRINIFORMES, CYPRINIDAE) IN LAOS

Two new species of Gyrodactylus, G. esomi sp. n. and G. kottelati sp. n. are described from Esomus longimana (Lunel) caught in the Vientiane Province, Laos. G. esomi sp. n. differs from its nearest relative G. gnathopogonis Ergens et Gussev, 1975 by the smaller size of the anchors and a different shape of the marginal hooks. G. seravschani Osmanov, 1965 and G. sprostonae Ling Mo-en, 1962 are the closest apparent relatives of G. kottelati sp. n. but differ from this species principally in the shape of the marginal hook proper and the shape of the ventral bar shield.
