ECDC public health response to the threat of resistant gonorrhoea in Europe

The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control(ECDC) has launched its public health response plan tocontrol and manage the threat of resistant gonorrhoeaacross Europe [1]. This is the first regional responseplan after the World Health Organization (WHO) warnedabout drug-resistant gonorrhoea becoming a majorpublic health challenge [2].
