The paper presents an experimental study of the acoustic fountain (the so-called stream of liquid above the interface of liquid/gas or liquid/liquid induced by acoustic wave) induced by the focusing transducer. An original method for measuring the performance of the acoustic fountain is proposed and an experimental setup is developed. The obtained experimental results give the linear dependence of the performance of the acoustic fountain from acoustic power. It is shown that at the optimal choice of the geometrical focus position of transducer the 25-30% the acoustic fountain volume performance increase is achieved.
