Polivalencia en elecciones, fin del dominio del prd en la Ciudad de México

摘要

In the 2015 election, the Democratic Revolutionary Party ( prd ) lost the dominance they heldin Mexico City. This phenomenon is explained based on the concept of electoral polyvalence,which makes reference to the most important factors that determine electoral results. In thisarticle we argue that ineffective government action, the internal struggles for the distribution ofcandidacies, the emergence of morena and the mistakes made during the political campaignscaused that Democratic Revolution Party lose the power.
