摘要

The Scientific Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids (thePanel) was asked to provide scientific advice to the Commission on the implications for human healthof chemically defined flavouring substances used in or on foodstuffs in the Member States. Inparticular, the Panel was requested to evaluate 22 flavouring substances in this Flavouring GroupEvaluation 01, Revision 2 (FGE.01Rev2), using the Procedure as referred to in the CommissionRegulation (EC) No 1565/2000. These 22 flavouring substances belong to chemical groups 1 and 2,Annex I of the Commission Regulation (EC) No 1565/2000.
