Back to the Future: Electric and Hybrid Cars. Case study: Electric Machines used in Electric Traction

摘要

In this paper, the economic, social and technological impacts of the developing an electric vehicle industry in Romania is examined. The worldwide automobile companies are forced to think innovative ways of manufacturing vehicles because of high levels of pollution in the urban areas and the depletion of fossil fuel reserves. In this global context, the Romanian politicians are tryingto find the right way to encourage the production of electric cars in our country. Because we are a country with an economy not too strong difficulties encountered in arriving at this project are numerous and not easy to overcome. However, we have a great advantage, a resource that, properly valued can make a difference: human resource. We still have good engineers, specialists in electric cars. They are the hope of a future powered by cleaner energy source: electricity.
