Sterlitamak’s shikhan is a huge natural heritage not only of Russian, but also all the world. They areunique in many aspects: the geological, botanical, zoological, archaeological, ethno-cultural. Unfortunately,manufacturers have destroyed one of the four shikhans and may soon destroy the others. The academic communityof the Republic of Bashkortostan should form a clear position on this issue and to defend the preservation ofshikhans. Our task - to further explore, protect and preserve for future generations this unique natural monuments.These studies are important for the entire population.
